Here you will find a nearly complete record of all of Nonagon's live performances. Many of the individual show reports have images, videos and commentary. If you want to browse through a more condensed version of this list, go to the quick overview page.
We were added as a last minute addition to this great Champaign show at Mike & Molly's:
That blurry, drunk guy at the bottom of the frame came up to me after I snapped this photo and close-talked to me with a barrage of questions about why I am taking this picture. I then explained, three times, that I am in the band that just sound checked at full volume two minutes he came out for his smoke.
The show was fun and all the bands were great. Thanks to Isaac for letting us piggy-back on this fantastic bill.
We're headed south to play at the Valley of the Vapors festival. It was a very nice event in a cool space (Low Key Arts) filled with art and tacos.
One of the highlights of the long drive down was a stop at Lambert's Throwed Rolls. Great southern food ladeled onto your plate and hot rolls throwed through the air!
Hot Springs is a swell little tourist destination. Here's John & Tony taking in the sights in front of the many old-timey bath houses that line the main strip.
Low Key Arts.
The only way the band could convice Robert to agree to a show this far away was with the promise of Waffle House.
A massive music festival in the Wintery North! We are taking over a sleepy inn on the lake for three nights of music. Not sure which night Nonagon will be playing, so come up for the entire thing!

The Motel Beds
Put simply, Motel Beds is a rock band from Dayton, Ohio and that means certain things to certain people... Yes, they release albums faster than most bands book shows. Yes, the songs are catchy, guitar-driven and often shorter than three minutes. And finally yes, one of them has played with Robert Pollard.
Today's Man is/has (Please choose one or more of the following): A. A dynamic instrumental trio with a sprinkle of awesomeness. B. Great lateral quickness but size is a question. C. Three cocksmen who don't play by the rules."
From the event page on Facebook:
Indeed! A night of baller-ass riff-heavy noisy rock, and the debut of a new weirdo Power-Pop Milwaukee/Madison hybrid! Body Futures are playing last not because they think they're hot-ass shit, but because DJ has roller derby that night and will be getting to the show ASAfuckingP.
DIG THESE ROCKERS:
It's Dixie from White Wrench Conservatory! Michael from the Five Mod Four! Chris from Everybody at Midnight! And DJ from IfIHadAHiFi! Playing power-pop for people who like to hump to weird time signatures!
No recordings yet. It's a new band. Hell, we'll be cramming to get the lyrics done in time for this shit.
Classic Chicagoland angular, frantic, sweaty post-punk. I have never seen this band be anything less than fucking awesome. Their drummer Tony once nailed DJ from Body Futures in the fucking face with a drumstick while he was rocking out on stage at Quenchers. This band will put your eye out at twenty paces while peeling your damn face off with MANIC ABRASION and the wildest noise-rock licks. Get into it.
Hey, have you ever thought, "man, the Jesus Lizard would have been way better if David Yow had pranced around in a pink half-shirt that said 'GRIZZLY FEMME' on it and rubbed up on my forehead with his balls on the reg?" More "loose and juicy" than "tight and shiny," but plenty killer. DO NOT MISS. You're fucking lucky this band is coming to town, Milwaukee. Baste in it.
DISGUISED AS BIRDS
If you live in Milwaukee and need this band explained to you at this point, you're beyond hope. SHOW UP ON TIME, FOOLS. One of Milwaukee's most underrated bands, even though all i ever hear people say about them is how awesome they are. TRUE STUFF.
Yeah, it's a Friday, but you should still show up on time because this shit will start at 10 PM promptly. Don't be a douche. DEATH TO PUNK ROCK TIME.
Cost? Eh, let's say $7, that'll probably be accurate.
1210 W. Bryn Mawr Av. Enter through the side door on the west end of the building.
$5. $10 if you want beer!
Music starts at 8:30pm sharp- we have to be done by 11pm. Doors at 8.
Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8PM. Nonagon is playing first and there is a $10 door. This is going to be AyOH's record release show and there is going to be an Internet video stream here. Tune in if you can't make it to the show.
